has teamed up with the WSU Hilberry Theatre
to give you the chance to win a pair of tickets
to see "Biloxi Blues."
Leaving
home for the first time, Eugene Morris Jerome
finds himself in the midst of life’s
trials and tribulations, alone and at boot
camp. As he trains for the war ahead, Eugene
tries to understand his reactions to what
is happening around him while he confronts
his own dreams. This Tony Award-winning play
will warm your heart and keep you laughing
while exploring what our place in the world
can and should be.
The
Hilberry Repertory Theatre is the nation’s
only true graduate rotating repertory theatre.
The company of fifty up-and-coming professionals
attends classes at Wayne State University
in the mornings, prepares for productions
during the afternoons and performs for the
public at night and on the weekends. As Michigan’s
most attended producing theatre, the Hilberry
draws subscribers from not only Detroit and
surrounding counties, but from as far away
as Ohio and Canada.
Through
a rigorous audition process, only the nation’s
most promising theatre artists are hired into
the Hilberry Repertory Theatre Company where
they work for three years honing their crafts
and earning Masters of Fine Arts degrees as
well as entertaining Michigan audiences.
Tickets
are $25 for All Matinees and Thursdays at
8 p.m. for regular admission. Discount tickets
are available at $20 for students, senior
citizens, WSU faculty and stuff and alumni
association members. Tickets are $30 for performances
on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. Discount
tickets are available for $25 on those days.
Student rush tickets may be purchased at $10
on the day of the performance. Tickets may
be purchased at the box office or over the
