Detroit Historical Museum

has teamed up with the Detroit Historical
Museum to give you the chance to win a pair
of general admission tickets. The tickets
are valid for all exhibits within the museum.
Five
new exhibits have opened at the Detroit Historical
Museum including "Detroit Toy Stories,"
"Fabulous 5: Detroit's Destinations,"
"1950s: Afflence and Anxiety in the Atomic
Stage" in the Lorenzo Cultural Center gallery
and Other new additions include the art pieces
by William B. Stout in the "Detroit Artists
Showcase" and the 1914 Anderson Detroit Electric
in the "Automotive Showplace."
The
Detroit Historical Museum, located at 5401
Woodward Ave. (NW corner of Kirby) in Detroit’s
Cultural Center area, is open to the public
Wednesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to
3 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
Sunday from Noon to 5 p.m. On Mondays and
Tuesdays, the Museum is not open to the public
but available for group tours by calling (313)
833-7979.
Admission
to the Detroit Historical Museum will be FREE
for all visitors on the third Sunday of each month
this fall: October 16th, November 20th, December
18th.
Adult
admission is $6. Seniors (60+), college students
with valid college ID, and youth ages 5-18
pay $4. Admission for children ages four and
under is free. Parking in the Museum’s
lot is $3 at all times. For more information,

Ten
lucky winners will each recieve a pair of general
admission passes to The Detroit Historical Museum.
