Detroit Historical Museum
has teamed up with the Detroit Historical
Museum to give you the chance to win a pair
of general admission tickets. The tickets
are valid for all exhibits within the museum.
new exhibits have opened at the Detroit Historical
Museum including "WWJ Newsradio 950:
90 Years of Innovation," "Fabulous
5: Detroit's Historic Retailers," "Saying
I Do: Metro Detroit Weddings" andOther
new additions include the art pieces by Jerome
Biederman in the "Detroit Artists Showcase"
and the Scripps-Booth 'Da Vinci Pup' Cyclecar
in the "Automotive Showplace." These
tickets are valid from now until January 2,
Detroit Historical Museum, located at 5401
Woodward Ave. (NW corner of Kirby) in Detroit’s
Cultural Center area, is open to the public
Wednesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to
3 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
Sunday from Noon to 5 p.m. On Mondays and
Tuesdays, the Museum is not open to the public
but available for group tours by calling (313)
Corporation Foundation presents "Find
Your Place in History" at the Detroit
Historical Museum. On the third Sunday of
every month from October 2010 through August
2011 admission will be FREE. In addition there
will be docent-led tours of our signature
exhibit the Streets of Old Detroit from Noon
- 3 p.m. each day. NEW!!
admission is $6. Seniors (60+), college students
with valid college ID, and youth ages 5-18
pay $4. Admission for children ages four and
under is free. Parking in the Museum’s
lot is $3 at all times. For more information,
