open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. The winners

Singer-songwriter-bluesman
Jackie Greene's heroes are Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, and he
has what those two have: an outward relaxed casualness that
is really a monster talent, and a blues voice and instrumental
technique that form the foundation of a new stage of roots
songwrtiting. Jackie has become an Ark favorite with his unique
attitude and total mastery of distinctive vocal sounds and
instrumental textures.
This
Northern California sensation was discovered at an open mic
night by the owner of the Dig music label. He sings and plays
guitars, dobro, piano, harmonica, and percussion. Come and
pick up a copy of Jackie's new songbook, containing all the
songs you know as well as some you haven't heard at all.
