2008 Downtown Hoedown Artist

AmericaJR.com announces that new country group Jypsi will perform at the Downtown Hoedown on Sunday, May 11th. In support of their upcoming performance, we're giving away three autographed photos of the band. The winners will also receive an AmericaJR.com magnet and pen.

Their first single was "Love Is a Drug". "I Don't Love You Like That", its follow-up, is currently a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

Jypsi is an American country music group composed of four siblings, all with the surname Rische: Amber-Dawn (fiddle, vocals), Frank (guitar, vocals), Lillie Mae (lead vocals), and Scarlett (mandolin, vocals).

After several years of performing together as a family band, Jypsi was discovered in 2000 by Cowboy Jack Clement, a record producer from Nashville, Tennessee. After several years of performing in Nashville, they were signed to a recording contract with Arista Nashville.

In late 2007, Jypsi began work on its debut album.
