announces that The Road Hammers will perform at
the Downtown Hoedown on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
In support of their upcoming performance, we're
giving away three prizes to three separate winners:
an autographed hat, a t-shirt and three stickers.
The
Grand Prize winner will receive a baseball cap
autographed by all the band members. The Second
Place winner will receive a Road Hammers t-shirt
that is an Adult extra large (XL) size. The Third
Place winner will receive three stickers from
the band (two are window clings and the other
is a regular sticker).
The
Road Hammers is an award-winning Canadian Country
music group composed of Jason McCoy, Clayton Bellamy,
Chris Byrne and Corbett Frasz. Their first self-titled
album included remakes of several classic truck-driving
songs. It was recognized with a Juno Award in
2006, along with numerous Canadian Country Music
Association awards. The Road Hammers did a cover
of "East Bound and Down" and it went
all the way to #2 on the Canadian country music
charts.
The
Road Hammers' new single, "I Don't Know When
to Quit" will be released to Canadian radio
stations on December 10th. Their upcoming album,
entitled Blood, Sweat and Steel, is to be released
June 1, 2008. The new song will also serve as
their debut single to US radio.
Three
separate winners will each receive a prize. One
winner will get the autographed hat. Another winner
will get the t-shirt. A third winner will receive
the stickers.
