The Bellamy Brothers "Angels
& Outlaws: Vol. 1"

The latest
album from The Bellamy Brothers is called "Angels & Outlaws:
Volume 1." Each song on this album is a duo with another country
star.
Some of
the featured stars are Alan Jackson, Montgomery Gentry, Willie Nelson
and Pat Green. You will also hear some of Hal Ketchum, Dolly Parton,
George Jones, Tanya Tucker, Charlie Daniels and John Anderson on
this album.
The first
song on this album is "You Ain't Just Whistlin Dixie."
It's a duet with country star Alan Jackson. Track two is "Old
Hippie," a duet with Montgomery Gentry.
The third
tune is the classic country song "Let Your Love Flow."
It's a duet with Hal Ketchum and Lisa Brokop. Here's some of the
lyrics: "Just let your love flow like a mountain stream. And
let your love grow with the smallest of dreams.
And let your love show and you'll know what I mean it's the season."
Dolly Parton
shows up on this album during a duet with the Bellamy Brothers in
the song "If I Said You Have a Beautiful Body." This is
really an awesome song as they sound perfect together. Here's the
lyrics: "Would your flowing love come quench me. If I said
you had a beautiful body. Would you hold it against me."
We've all
heard the song Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson. If you listen to
classic country, then you're more familiar with the hit "Redneck
Girl" which is on this album! It was one of the biggest hits
for the Bellamy Brothers and it's song number six.
The seventh
track is "Dancin' Cowboys." It has a theme like that of
Jimmy Buffet songs.
It's actually a duet with Trini Triggs. Some of the lyrics: "DANCIN'
COWBOYS. singin' horses gypsy music ringin' voices. DANCIN' COWBOYS.
singin' horses gypsy music. songs about love."
You can
also find George Jones on this album in a duet in the song "Sugar
Daddy." Tanya Tucker helps out in the hit song "Reggae
Cowboys." John Anderson appears in a duet in the song "Alligator
Alley."
I'm not
someone that likes classic country but this album is amazing. You
get a taste of the past with a touch of the present with all of
these duets. They make the older tunes come alive again. Look for
this album to be #1 on the country charts.
