Jason Rzucidlo reports from the 2011 Ford Arts, Beats and Eats festival
in downtown Royal Oak, Mich. There were more than 100 artist booths,
over 250 bands and more than 60 restaurants. The festival is four
blocks larger than last year. Watch for interviews with ceramics
artist Miky Cunningham from West Des Moines, IA; Glass artist Collette
Fortin from Celina, OH; Wood artist Richard Peterson from Rockford,
MI; and Ceramics artist Doug Spalding from Royal Oak, MI. The festival
runs through Labor Day on Monday. Admission is just $3 per person.
