2013 Ford ARTS, BEATS AND EATS
~~ OAKLAND COUNTY'S SUMMER FESTIVAL ~~

* Activities for the Kids *

New this year is a Petting Farm sponsored by Huron-Clinton Metroparks that will be located just outside the Kids Zone on 7th St. Anticipated animals include a mini-horse, calf, goats, sheep, ducklings, chickens, chicks and rabbits. From noon-6 p.m. each day of the festival, children will have the opportunity to get up close and safely touch and feed the assortment of cuddly and cute, furry animals.

A new exciting family activity will be offered in the Kids Zone this year, the Radio Disney Junior Doc McStuffins Toy Clinic powered by Children’s Hospital of Michigan at the DMC. On Saturday, Aug. 31, children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal or toy for a visit with a doctor from DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. The docs will be on hand from 1 to 4 p.m. to provide check-ups and healthy tips for each child's special friend, while the Radio Disney Junior Road Crew Show takes to the Kids Stage from 3 to 4 p.m with awesome games, music and prizes! Families, kids and even toys will love this great addition to Ford Arts, Beats & Eats this year!
