This is a new restaurant
located within the College Park complex of Schoolcraft College.
It is located in the same strip mall as Potbelly but on the
opposite end. It is a unique burger restaurant like you've never
seen before.
They have five types
of burgers. They classify on the menu that they are not called
"hamburgers." They are cooked to order, not waiting
for you. The Classic is a 5.5 oz burger, the Semi-Serious is
7 ounces, The Serious is 10 oz, The Delirious is 14 ounces and
the "Famous Pounder" is 20 oz. If you order the Famous
Pounder and finish it, you can get your picture taken and placed
on a bulletin board called the "Wall of Famers." When
people enter the restaurant, they will be able to see your face.
First, you have to
choose of the size of your burger. Secondly, you pick the type
of cheese. They have american, bleu, swiss, mozzarella, feta,
cheddar, jalapeno and provolone. Then you can choose any number
of toppings from the menu at no charge. They have some unique
items such as artichoke hearts, guacamole and onion rings.
Cheeburger Cheeburger also offers numerous specialty drinks.
They have about 50 flavors of shakes and malts. A half size
is $2.75 and a regular is $4.25. They have unique flavors such
as caribbean rum, cheese cake, kit kat, nerds and much more.
I ordered the Classic
burger. I chose to go with cheddar cheese and my toppings were
lettuce, banana peppers, tomato, onion and pickles. I chose
to order a VanillaCola which is a mix of Pepsi and Vanilla.
I think it was very good. I would definitely recommend this
restaurant to you and your friends.
I would like to mention
that my bill came out to be exactly $7.00 for the Classic Burger
and my VanillaCola. How many times does your bill come out to
an event amount in a restaurant? Never. That's something unique.
The atmosphere of
this restaurant is that of an old-style diner. There is counter
for you to sit down and order. However, there is only four or
five seats at the counter. Most of the seating is tables and
booths.
The Cheeburger Cheeburger
location at College Park is the only one in Michigan. They also
have restaurants throughout most of the Atlantic Seaboard, Louisiana,
Colorado and in Nebraska. They are currently opening new stores
nationwide.
