thought Winter Blast was scaling back, out of the snow comes a Winter
Carnival with six family-friendly amusement rides for kids ages 3
Located on Woodward Avenue in front of the First National Building
and on Cadillac Square, the rides will add a cool, family friendly,
new attraction to Detroit’s Winter Blast beginning Friday –
Sunday, February 6 – 8. Cost is only $2 per ride.
Winter Carnival’s six featured rides include:
The Rainbow Rock – a jungle maze that allows children to find
their way through, from start to finish, like Indiana Jones on a lost
• The Merry Go Round – an all time classic carnival favorite
that is a perfect ride for the young at heart.
• On The Hampton Combination, children will select from six
vintage, muscle or classic cars to ride throughout the carnival.
• The Circus Train will enable riders to experience life on
a train as a circus performer while listening to classic circus music.
• Children also can jump on a croc for the Croc & Roll roller
coaster before heading to the Crazy House, a fun house that has been
kicked up a notch.
