Crews are working on the snow slide for the Winter Blast.

It will be the first time since 2008 that the Winter Blast will have the snow slide.

The snow slide is 200 feet long and 32 feet high.

Rides are $3 each or FREE on Friday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Motown Winter Blast, produced by Jonathan Witz & Associates, features hip and cool winter events centered around Campus Martius Park and great city attractions throughout Detroit. Our signature winter activities are returning with free ice skating in Campus Martius Park, Professional skating demonstrations from the Detroit Skating Club sponsored by Charter One Bank, the Michigan.org 200 ft. snow slide, Quicken Loans Ice Garden, the Meijer Kid’s Family Fun Zone and more.
