The Winter Experience *
only one weekend when you can enjoy free ice skating at Campus
Martius Park, and that's during Winter Blast. Ice-skating will
be provided free to the public all weekend long courtesy of
Michigan.org, plus there will be performances by professional
and talented amateur skaters through out the weekend sponsored
by Charter One Bank.
blocks of specially lit themed ice sculptures will be located
just west of Campus Martius Park. Don't miss the Quicken Loans
returning this year is Marshmallow Roasting in the streets,
sponsored by the Oakland Press/Macomb Daily! This will be located
just north of the Campus Martius rink outside the Compuware
building. Children of all ages are invited to warm up and make
a break from all the fun outside to warm up inside! Visit
one of the DTE Comfort Zones located throughout the festival!
Comfort Zone - Listen to great Detroit Music on the Michigan
Comfort Zone/Meijer Kids Tent - Meijer Arts and Craft by
day and the Detroit Electronic Music Festival Presents Techno
artists at night.
Building - Children’s performers on the Meijer Kids
Stage during the day and Acoustic performers on the Flagstar
Stage at night.
Tower - Warm up after visiting the ice sculptures!
National Building - Features Wine-Tasting at Enoteca.
