"Elizabethtown"

This movie was about
a man, Drew, (Orlando Bloom) who worked for a shoe
company with his innovative idea for a shoe has lost the company
almost a
billion dollars.
Alec Baldwin has a small
part in the movie where he plays Drew's boss at the shoe company.
He subsequently gets fired and loses his girlfriend and wants to
end his life, until his sister calls with some bad news. His father
has died.
So he goes back to his
hometown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky to pick up his body to bring
it back to Oregon. On the red-eye flight there, he meets a flight
attendant named Claire (Kirsten Dunst) who is persistent on getting
to know him.
Susan Sarandon also stars
in this movie. She plays the role of Drew's mom. At the reception
for the funeral, she starts tap dancing and then starts telling
a weird story about her encounter with one of the neighbors.
While in Kentucky, he
gets together with his relatives and finds out his father wanted
to be cremated. As time goes on, Claire keeps showing up. He then
falls in
love and therefore finds the meaning of life.
This movie is very long.
It is 2 hours and 18 minutes. It was given a rating of PG-13 for
languages and sexual references. It was produced by Tom Cruise,
among others.
