Orlando Bloom. Kirsten Dunst. Susan Sarandon. Jessica Biel. Judy Greer. Comedy.

This movie was about a man, Drew, (Orlando Bloom) who worked for a shoe
company with his innovative idea for a shoe has lost the company almost a
billion dollars.

Alec Baldwin has a small part in the movie where he plays Drew's boss at the shoe company. He subsequently gets fired and loses his girlfriend and wants to end his life, until his sister calls with some bad news. His father has died.

So he goes back to his hometown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky to pick up his body to bring it back to Oregon. On the red-eye flight there, he meets a flight attendant named Claire (Kirsten Dunst) who is persistent on getting to know him.

Susan Sarandon also stars in this movie. She plays the role of Drew's mom. At the reception for the funeral, she starts tap dancing and then starts telling a weird story about her encounter with one of the neighbors.

While in Kentucky, he gets together with his relatives and finds out his father wanted to be cremated. As time goes on, Claire keeps showing up. He then falls in
love and therefore finds the meaning of life.
