"Firewall"
Genre: Action/Adventure,
Drama and Thriller (PG-13)
This is a movie about
a bank executive, Jack Stanfield, played by Harrison
Ford whose family is kidnapped in their own home. The attackers
are
demanding payment of $100 million transferred into their european
accounts, but Jack has to find a way to tap into the computer system
and
transfer the money. Days go by while the family is under surveillence
while Jack goes to the bank's computer system. Jack also is being
watched
by a pen with a camera, as he acts strange towards his secretary.
He is
told to fire his secretary because they are suspicious of her. She,
in
turn, thinks he is acting weird.
He finally escapes their grip and ends up at the secretary's apartment
and
explains the situation and asks for her help. She agrees. Now that
the
money is transferred, you would think the attackers would let the
family
go. But Jack takes a chance and re-transfers the money back to the
bank.
Then the action begins.
I've heard that Harrison
Ford does his own stunts in this movie and he gets thrown around
a lot. It is a very good thriller and i would recommend it.
Starring is this film
is Harrison Ford, Pal Bettany, Jimmy Bennett, Virginia Madsen and
Robert Patrick. It is directed by Richard Loncraine. Distributed
by Warner Bros.
