Though already known
to moviegoers thanks to the "Blade," "X-Men,"
and "Spider-Man" franchises, it wasn't until "Iron

"The Avengers" that Marvel was catapulted to the superhero
Once again, Marvel
continues that trend to bring superheroes out of mild obscurity
with "Guardians of the Galaxy" featuring Chris Pratt
as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista
as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, and Vin Diesel as Groot.

the Guardians are the outer space equivalent of "The Avengers."

Even better, Chris
Pratt's Star-Lord is the best dressed sci-fi/fantasy action hero
since Keanu Reeves' Neo ('The One') in "The Matrix"
They may be quirky
and eccentric, but these "Guardians of the Galaxy" is
already warp speeding their way out of the D-List.
