PHOTO BY JASON RZUCIDLO / ©AMERICAJR.com Jypsi (pronounced like the word "gypsy") is an American country music group composed of four siblings, all with the last name Rische: Amber-Dawn (fiddle, vocals), Frank (guitar, vocals), Lillie Mae (lead vocals), and Scarlett (mandolin, vocals).

PHOTO BY JASON RZUCIDLO / ©AMERICAJR.com In late 2007, Jypsi began work on its debut album. Their first single, "Love Is a Drug", failed to chart; "I Don't Love You Like That", its follow-up, reached a peak of #38 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

Return to the Downtown Hoedown section. Detroit's Downtown Hoedown is known as the World's Largest Free Country Concert. The event is held each year at Hart Plaza along Detroit's Beautiful Riverfront bordering Windsor, Ontario. It is a three-day event featuring music, dancing and fun for all ages. The music portion is filled with local bands, newcomers and established artists.
