The
Laurel Market and Deli Restaurant in Livonia.
The Laurel Market
and Deli is attached to the Laurel Manor banquet hall. It
is a small take out restaurant with a few seats for eating
inside. The restaurant is hidden on the west side of the building.
I ordered a turkey
sandwich on rye swirl bread. It came with swiss, lettuce,
tomato and mayo. It was very tasty. I used a coupon from the
Livonia Observer which provided a FREE cookie or soft drink
with the purchase of a lunch. The cost was $4.75.
The Laurel Market
and Deli also serves soup, chili, a large selection of salads,
hot lunches, pizza, pasta and many more items. The restaurant
offers a long list of sandwich choices including Chicken Salad,
Tuna Salad, Ham Roll-Up, Turkey Roll-Up, Chicken or Tuna on
a croissant, Italian submarine, Mortadella, Corned Beef on
Rye and two sandwiches on focaccia bread.
The deli / market
also has a dessert menu that includes slices of pie, cheese
cake, tapioca pudding, chocolate pudding, fresh baked cookies,
ice cream bars and assorted candy.
The restaurant
does not have soft drinks from a fountain. Instead, they had
Coke and Pepsi products in a plastic bottle inside of a refrigerator.
They also have Arizona Tea, bottled juice, water and tea plus
energy drinks.
You can also purchase
beer and wine at the Laurel Market and Deli. They also serve
fresh sliced bread that can be purchased by the loaf.
The only suggestions
that I would have for this restaurant would be to include
some music or a television. Some type of entertainment to
set the mood. Also, I would bring a friend or you may get
bored easily if you decide to eat in.
