"License To Wed"
Comedy.
Rated PG-13.
This is a story about
Ben Murphy (John Krasinski) and Sadie Jones (Mandy
Moore) who are in love and announce their engagement at her parents
30th
wedding anniversary celebration. Ben wants to get married in the
tropical
Caribbean and she wants to get married in her neighborhood church.
He
gives in, and so they meet up with Reverand Frank (Robin Williams).
They go and pick a
date for the wedding, and Rev. Frank only has open 2
years from now or three weeks. They decide on 3 weeks. He says
in
order to get married in this church, you must go through a pre-marriage
test which usually lasts 3 months, but as a favor, he can cram
it in in 3
weeks.
The calamity begins
here. They learn to fight fair. However, Ben & Sadie
says they never fight. They learn to communicate by blindfolding
Sadie
while Ben tells her how to drive. They become uncomfortable when
discussing their sex life. They go through twists & turns
of questions
and scenarios while trying to organize the wedding details too.
It finally becomes
too much. Sadie needs some time, so she asks her
sister (Christine Taylor) for advice. However, her sister has
been
divorced and doesn't think she is an expert on marriage. so she
uses
their honeymoon tickets to Jamaica to think things over. Do they
ever
make it to the altar????
This is a light-hearted
comedy that you will enjoy.
