Life as We Know
It begins
with Katherine Heigl (Holly) and Josh Duhamel (Eric) going on
a blind date set up by their best friends. They have a rocky start
trying to go out to dinner beginning with him wanting her to ride
on his motorcycle while wearing a dress. So they decide to go
in her Smart car and they eventually fight like cats and dogs
and she decides to kick him out of her car and just go home.
Holly owns her own
bakery/sandwich/coffee shop and wants to expand to a catering
business and a restaurant. Meanwhile, Eric is a Sports director,
they hear some fatal news. Their friends died in a car accident
leaving their newly-born daughter, Sophie, in both of their care.
Eric, the ladies man, and Holly struggle with their social calendar.
With juggling their
careers and trying to put their differences aside, Holly and Eric
find caring for Sophie, their goddaughter, very difficult. They
both move into their friends' house and their neighbors start
to observe their comings and goings.
Then Eric gets a job
offer in Arizona and decides to take it. Holly is devastated.
After spending time with Holly and Sophie during Thanksgiving,
he leaves for the airport. Do you really think opposites attract?
Life as We Know
It is being distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Scenes
were filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. The movie was directed by Greg
Berlanti and runs one hour and 52 minutes.
This is a light-hearted
comedy about raising a baby with some predictable spoofs. There
is crude humor and sexual content.
