NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Matt Gary is a new country music artist who grew up in Lenexa, Kan. The 27-year-old is a graduate from the University of Tampa with degrees in Computer Information Systems and Digital Art with a concentration in 3-D Animation. Gary formed his own independent record label called 17 Music Entertainment.

Gary brings a fresh sound to country music that is not offered by other artists. He sounds like a mix of Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. The country artist worked with Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells on the album.

The debut album, I'm Just Sayin', features six songs on it. The title track was released to radio on October 11, 2010.

My favorite song on the album is the lead-off single, "The Days You Live For." It is about the journey of life and special events like turning 16, your first kiss, marriage and having your first child.

"I'm Just Sayin'" is the second song. It's about a woman in a relationship with the wrong guy.

The third song on the record is "What's Left of Me," a single about the struggles between a professional and a personal life.

"Too Far" is the fourth song on the record. It's about the moment when you find the woman you want the spend the rest of your life with.

The fifth song is "Not Every Man Lives," a song that constantly asks the question "Do you live your life to the fullest?" over and over.

"Can't Take Her Anywhere" is the sixth and final song on the album. It's about a girl that is so good looking that everyone stops to stare.

Overall, I'm Just Sayin', will make the perfect gift for the holidays.

A full-length album with 10 songs is expected to be released in Spring 2011. In the meantime, check out I'm Just Sayin'.
