look inside the MGM Grand Ingite Lounge.
Ignite lounge is
located inside the MGM Grand Casino Hotel on the third floor
at 1777 Third Street, Detroit Michigan 48226. Ignite represents
what MGM is all about, igniting your senses and relaxing in
a casual yet upbeat atmosphere enjoying a delicious martini
that are $8-$10.
Ignite can be reached
by the elevators located on the first level of the casino
right across from Club V. The entrance is very Vegas-like
with the seclusion of a private elevator. When you step inside,
the floor of the elevator changes colors with vibrations.
The doors open
to the lounge displaying an ice bar that you can set your
drink on to keep cold while conversing. The lounge is spacious
with a dark décor, accented with deep red couches and
a fashionably lit fire place that’s the length of a
wall. There are two bars, one in the middle of the lounge
and one near the elevators.
The lounge offers
the gentlemen the opportunity to enjoy a cigar in the cigar
room, and a sushi bar on the other side of the lounge for
late night snacks. Venturing around to the other side of the
bar where there’s a great view of the city with seating
near the windows to enjoy the city lights.
Ignite provides
lounge music during the weekends when it’s usually busy,
but not as much during week days. I loved the experience I
had at Ignite and I am definitely looking forward to going
back.
