If you like a feel
good movie, you will like this one. There are famous stars coming
out of the woodwork. It's a little romance and comedy all put
together.
First there is Zac
Efron who plays a bike messenger and Michelle Pfieffer who quits
her job and hires Zac to fulfill her 10 new years' resolutions.
He is very creative at that, I must add.
Then there is Hilary
Swank who is the big shot head of the New York City ball dropping
program. Of course, things go wrong at the last minute. Sarah
Jessica Parker plays a mom to Abigail Breslin who is forbidden
to go to the city alone, but then sneaks out to see the ball drop
hoping to get her first kiss.
Ashton Kutcher is a
guy who hates New Years Eve and gets stuck in an elevator with
Lea Michele, who is a back-up singer for John Bon Jovi's band
called Jensen. Jensen is the entertainment in Times Square. Bon
Jovi walked out on Katherine Heigl less than a week after they
moved in together and she is still mad at him. However, Bon Jovi
wants to be forgiven for not being committed at that time and
wants her back.
Jessica Biel and Seth
Meyers play husband and wife who is having a baby and hoping to
have the first baby of the new year and win a jackpot. They are
in competition with another couple and it gets ugly.
Josh Duhamel is coming
home from a wedding in Connecticut and is heading for city, when
he gets into a car accident. He is hoping to meet this girl he
met last New Year's Eve and planned to meet her again this year
at the same place and time as before.
Robert DeNiro has cancer
and refuses chemo or radiation and wants to see his last new year's
eve ball drop. Halle Barry plays the nurse taking care of him.
Sophia Vergara is hilarious.
She and Katherine Heigl play a sous chef.
The movie is about
the lives and misadventures of each character as they plan their
New Year's Eve.
I enjoyed this movie
and would recommend it.
