Anna
Faris and Seth Rogen in Observe and Report.
|
This movie is about
a mall security officer named Ronnie Barnhardt (Seth Rogen) who
is bipolar. There is a flasher at the Forest Green Mall and he
is obsessed with catching him. The flasher terrorizes the women
and customers as he runs through the mall and then flees.
The film also stars
Anna Faris, Michael Peña and Patton Oswalt has a small
role as the Toast A Bun Manager. It is 86 minutes long.
There is also a burglar
that ransacks a shoe store and Ronnie is also on that case to
find out who is the culprit. He is a very egotistical guy and
it goes to his head, while ordering his fellow security officers
to find this guy.
There is lots of vulgar
language throughout the movie and drugs and violence. So with
this newfound power, Ronnie decides to join the Police Academy.
He goes through a series of tests and runs into Detective Harrison
(Ray Liotta) who tells him the bad news.
Now the Police Department
along with the mall security officers are on a mission to find
the flasher. Thinking they were allies in this mission, Ronnie
gets himself into trouble.
There is some romance
in the movie as Ronnie falls in love with one of the girls at
the cosmetic counter, however, she doesn't feel the same way.
I would not recommend
this movie as it is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen.
Overall Rating:
