Idris
Elba, Beyonce Knowles and Ali Larter star in Obsessed.

For three years, Ali
Larter has been good and bad as Niki/Jessica Sanders and then
Tracy Strauss on Heroes. But this weekend in theaters, she becomes
Obsessed, which is also the name of her new movie.
The plot follows Derek (Idris Elba), a successful businessman
who seems to have it all: Sharon, his beautiful wife (Beyonce
Knowles), and their newborn son. He meets the alluring temp worker
Lisa (Larter), who quickly falls in love with him and thinks that
Derek feels the same way. One night during a work Christmas party,
something happen between them at the bathroom --but you're going
to have see the movie to find out for yourself. So, what does
Derek do? He goes home and doesn't tell his wife about the incident
yet little did he know that their troubles were far from over,
as Lisa began stalking him, emailing him pictures, and will stop
nothing to get what she wants ... but what she didn't count on
is the wife, who decides to fight back.
Obsessed is an urban, corporate Fatal Attraction
-- with a twist, thanks to executive producer Beyonce. Over the
years in film, the wife has always been protected by her husband,
the hero, against the mentally unstable temptress. Yet, in Obsessed,
the wife becomes the hero for the first time instead of the victim,
for the highlight of Obsessed is definitely the climatic showdown
between Sharon and Lisa; I predict an nomination for "Best
Fight" at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
So, get Obsessed in theatres this weekend
