Hob Nobble Gobble 2010 will be a night to remember as we "Celebrate the Spirit" with a magnitude of sparkles, magic, wonder & whimsey! This year's event takes place on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Ford Field!

You won't want to miss the event of the year! With bigger and better rides than ever before, all the night's activities will take place ON THE FIELD! The Hob Nobble Gobble midway features twelve amazing rides for kids of all ages. Whirl and twirl on the flying saucers, ride the waves of the giant sea ray, see the sights from the ferris wheel and bump into your friends on the bumper cars! After you've mastered the rides, show off your carnival skills on the six giant carnival games and win amazing prizes!

A fantastic evening music, food, holiday delights, grand give-a-ways and headlining entertainment await you this year!

When is this year’s race?
As always, the race is held on Thanksgiving morning before the Parade. This year date is Thursday, November 25th.

What is new this year?

  • Three Wave Start – Fast Fit & Fun to help runners and walkers take off smoother. Each group will have
    corresponding colored numbers to help place them in the right corral. Fast (8 min and under pace) Fit (8 – 10 min
    pace) Fun (10 min and over pace) Fast and Fit start at 7:45am; Fun at 8:00 am.
  • Doggie water stops next to the people water stops. Doggie handlers identified with bibs so runners can go to the
    bathroom without their dogs.
  • Mock neck shirts will improve upon one of the best looking race shirts in Michigan.
  • On-line registration will now allow runners to register multiple participants in one transaction.
  • No more “D” tags. Timing devices will now be attached to your bib number.
  • The 5k and 10k courses have been improved. Please print the on line map to review the course.

The theme for the 84th America’s Thanksgiving Parade® is Celebrate the Spirit. The theme chosen by The Parade Company, allows for everyone to celebrate in their own way. Celebrate time together with friends and family, celebrating the spirit of the holidays, and the spirit of community pride.

America’s Thanksgiving Parade®, one of the country’s oldest and most celebrated Parades, will step off at 9:20 a.m. on Woodward Avenue and Mack and end at Woodward Avenue and Congress in downtown Detroit on Thursday, November 25, 2010. Hundreds of thousands of parade-goers will be watching as the Parade makes its way down Woodward Avenue.

It's Thanksgiving on Woodward Avenue! The Parade Company invites you to experience Parade Plaza, a free event along the parade route on Thanksgiving morning! Meet & Greets with parade characters like Clownie, Victor the Highpower Tower, Michigan State University’s Sparty and more! Stop by Clownie's Closet to get your official 2010 America's Thanksgiving Parade® merchandise. All proceeds benefit the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation a 501(c)3 non-profit.

Get in the Spirit with the Detroit’s Greatest Hits from 104.3 WOMC, drop off your letters to Santa with Mrs. Claus, enjoy hourly give aways and more!
