Though
the day started out a little bit wet and remaining
cloudy, there was still a blessing going from Woodward
to downtown Detroit mid-Thursday morning to early
afternoon: the 84th annual Thanksgiving Day Parade.
It featured 300,000 beads, 125 paper-mache heads,

units and five equestrian units. For one woman, this
was the day to not only give thanks for what she has
been grateful for, but the day to give celebrate her
life with loved ones -- and with no regrets.
