Tim McGraw "Live Like You
Were Dying"

Tim McGraw's
latest album is called "Live Like You Were Dying." The
album's title track was a number one hit on the Billboard country
charts. It also won the Song and Single Record of the Year in this
year's ACM Awards.
There are
a lot of hit songs on this album including "How Bad Do You
Want It," "Drugs or Jesus," "Back When"
"Do You Want Fries With That?" and the latest cut to hit
the airwaves "My Old Friend."
I would
like to spend some time talking about the less-famous songs on this
album. Track three is called "Can't Tell Me Nothin.'"
It's a song about finding out on our own. There are some things
you have to do in life alone. The lyrics go: "Talk is cheap.
And free advice is worth the price you pay. I have to find out for
myself the hard way. Can’t tell me nothin’"
Song number
four is one called "Old Town New." It's a sad song about
remembering an old friend and the memories that you shared with
them. Have you ever gone back to see the town where you used to
live to see how it's changed? Life continues.
Track nine
is called "Open Season On My Heart." It's a sad song about
taking blame for your own actions. There is no chorus in this song.
You can read the lyrics: "It don’t look good from
where I sit. I’ve tried to change without much luck. I reach
a point where I get stuck. I hit the streets the fireworks start.
It’s open season on my heart."
Tim McGraw
is going to be part of the TBS' Earth To America! two-hour special
on November 17th. It will be taped Live at The Colosseum at the
Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Other stars scheduled to perform
include Cedric The Entertainer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Robin Williams,
among others. It will air on Sunday, Nov. 20th at 8 p.m. on TBS.
He will
be on tour throughout the month of December. McGraw will make stops
in Connecticut and New York. Tim's Wife, Faith Hill has just released
a new album called "Fireflies." Tim McGraw is featured
in a duet with her in the song "Like We Never Loved at All."
