ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- While driving through Ann Arbor, Michigan we found a nice little restaurant called Tios Mexican Cafe. The place was small and quaint, yet very crowded for a Sunday at dinnertime. The atmosphere was nice and clean with a full bar. There were hundreds of hot sauces displayed for sale on one wall, from mild to kick butt hot and everything in between. The margaritas range in price from $8 to $10. We ordered the three taco plate with a side of rice and refried beans. The refried beans must have been homemade because I have never had better. They sell the tacos individually or in a three pack or twelve pack. One taco cost $2.49, while the three pack cost us $7.29 plus an additional $3.99 for the rice and beans. There were several different kinds of tacos to choose from such as: beef, chicken, pork, steak, fish and portabella. Quite a selection indeed. The food quality was superb. Other dishes on the menu included the usual mexican favorites like enchiladas, classic combo, fajitas and mexican pizza. The price ranges for all the dishes are from $12.99 to the highest being $16.99 on average. Our waitress was helpful, efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
