"Tristan and Isolde"
& "Annapolis"
Genres: Drama
James Franco stars in
these two remarkable movies. If you want like action, drama, and
love all in one movie, Tristan and Isolde is the movie to see. If
you enjoy watching military movies that has some love in it then
Annapolis is what you should go for.
In Tristan and Isolde, Tristan looses his parents in a war battle
between Ireland and the British when he is only but five or six
years of age. His fathers best friend raises him and trains him
to be a warrior his own.
When Triston reaches his late teen years he becomes a leader of
the village just as his "dad" was. He and his guys go
off to battle the Irish once again and is stabbed by a sword which
is poisoned. He appears to be dead and is giving a funeral service
as if he were king of the British.
Isolde is the daughter of the King of Ireland and finds Tristan
just in time to save his life. Tristan and Isolde start a secret
relationship together and are happy until war threatens their love.
In Annapolis, Jake works and lives just across the river from the
Navy Academy and is dreams of making it in there. After work one
day, Jake is greeted by a recruiter of the academy and hand delivers
a letter of acceptance from there. He is happy.
Once he arrives he discovers that it is nothing like what he had
expected and later discovers that no one has faith that he will
survive. He must then prove to the ones who claim to care and to
the staff of the academy that he is just as good as the others that
are there.
Both of these movies are worth seeing. Both deserve credit.
