"Unaccompanied Minors"
Comedy, Kids
/ Family. PG.
This movie is about a
bunch of minors flying on a plane alone trying to
get to their destination on Christmas Eve. When the airport gets
snowed
in because of a blizzard, these kids are placed in an unaccompanied
minors
room which is the most chaotic place in the world.
Spencer and his little
sister meets Katherine, a rich girl among other
kids and they become friendly. They devise a plan to escape the
room.
The Passenger Relations Mgr., Oliver Porter and his assistant, Zach,
have
the job of trying to catch them in their pursuit of freedom. Meanwhile,
Spencer's father, is trying to pick him up at the airport but has
trouble
due to the weather.
The group hides in rooms
and in the baggage claim area as Oliver tries to
pursue them. Spencer's little sister and Katherine are caught and
put in
a nearby Lodge/Hotel to wait out the storm. In the meantime, Spencer
tries his best to outwit the authorities in order to meet up with
his
sister.
This is definitely a
kids movie with kids-style calamity. The lesson
learned is that you can still celebrate Christmas and have a good
time
with the people you're with, especially in an airport.
