Weber's Inn Restaurant
This is an older
restaurant with a lot of class. Built in 1930's, it has
dark decor with stained glass windows. The hostess and wait
staff was
very friendly.
As me and my guest
sat down, I noticed that the silverware had the Weber's Inn
logo imprinted on it. With their white tablecloths and napkins,
we looked over the menu.
The menu prices
for lunch are very reasonable. I had the Chicken Portabella
lunch specialty. It included a sauteed breast of chicken over
a roasted portabella mushroom. Served with tarragon cream
sauce and mashed redskin potatoes. It also came with a choice
of house salad or chef's soup of the day and a bread basket.
The salad was mixed summer greens with sliced almonds and
dried cranberries.
The food was exceptional.
The chef really outdid themself on this one. I would definitely
recommend this dish.
The rest of the
lunch menu consisted of a huge selection of fresh salads,
a large assortment of sandwiches, several appetizers and fish,
prime rib
of beef, linguine, and quesadillas. What a lunch menu if i've
ever seen
one.
The price range
for lunch is from $4.95 to $9.95. You get a large portion
of food with some to take home to boot. Well worth it.
