Gusman and Jim Carrey in Yes Man.

This is a story about
a divorced loan officer named Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) who is down
because of his divorce and denies loans, says no to parties and
to life. He spends his days at the video store and watches videos
at home alone.
Then one day he goes
to a self-help seminar on saying "Yes" to everything
and anything. He tries it one day. He gives a homeless man a ride
to the park, and gives him money. While at the park, his car runs
out of gas and he has no money. So he walks to the nearest gas
station with a gas can. There he meets a girl, Allison, (played
by Zooey Deschanel) on a motorbike. They eventually get together.
Carl realizes that
hey this stuff really works. So he continues to follow the mantra
of saying yes. He signs up for Korean lessons, he tries bungee
jumping, he rides the motorbike for the first time. At work, he
is invited to a party at the boss's house and he goes. He also
gets a promotion. He is having the time of his life.
Then one day he goes
to another costume party and starts drinking red bull, like a
lot of them. He has a date with Allison the next day at 8 a.m.,
but the red bull keeps him awake all night and goes to the date
right after. Hyper as can be, as she wonders what's going on.
Eventually they get
handcuffed by the FBI and taken in. He is arrested for terrorism.
When they realize they got the wrong man, Allison figures out
that he says yes to everything. So she gets mad because she asked
him to move in together and he said yes, but thinks he really
doesn't like her but says yes anyway.
This is a funny movie
and typical of Jim Carrey's movies. The movie is actually better
than i had predicted it to be. I would recommend it. It is a comedy
and a love story rolled into one.
