PHOTOS: George Morris and The Gypsy Chorus performs @ 2015 Ann Arbor Summer Festival

AmericaJR.com’s Gloria and Jerome Rzucidlo were LIVE at the 2015 Ann Arbor Summer Festival on Tuesday evening. It was a Tasting Tuesday with craft beer from New Belgium Brewing Co. Royal Oak’s George Morris and The Gypsy Chorus performed on the Top of the Park Stage. They are a synth pop experiment in stylized vocals, piano and organ hooks, bouncing bass, and driving drums and drum machine that’s taken a cue from Ziggy Stardust and Sergeant Pepper. The group formed in 2013 around locally known solo artist George Morris and offers an exciting live performance of glam-influenced danceable pop alongside melancholy anthems. This year they released the EP We Will Go To Hell For This and have been touring the Midwest.
