WATCH: Local Motors GM David Woessner speaks at 2016 SAA Auto Outlook Conference

AmericaJR.com’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the historic Gem Theatre in the Detroit, the new home of the SAA Auto Outlook Conference. In this video, watch for remarks from David Woessner, general manager of Local Motors. The Phoenix-based company is looking to sell 3-D printed cars for about $53,000. The first model will be called Strati. Local Motors will produce these cars at so-called microfactories which are about the same size as your typical grocery store. Instead of having one large factory, there will be microfactories in several major cities across the country. Local Motors made a 3-D printed car during the 2015 North American International Auto Show.
