The AmericaJR.com Web Team celebrated Jason Rzucidlo’s birthday last August at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour. The parlors have an early 1900s theme, with employees wearing period dress and straw boater hats, and each location features a player piano. By 1975, there were 120 Farrell’s nationwide with locations at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor and Telegraph Road in Detroit. Thereafter, sales dropped and most of the parlors were sold off in the 1980s. Parlour Enterprises of Lake Forest, California, was confirmed as the owner and operator of Farrell’s properties on the U.S. mainland. romptly opened seven Farrell’s locations in California, including the Mountasia Family Fun Center in Santa Clarita; Rancho Cucamonga; downtown Brea; Riverside (opened January 2013); Sacramento (opened August 2013); and Buena Park (opened February 2014).
