PHOTOS: Construction continues on the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit

AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE in downtown Detroit to check on the progress of the new Little Caesars Arena, which will become the home of the Detroit Red Wings in 2017. Just one year after breaking ground on the arena and launching The District Detroit, the project is exceeding an aggressive goal of awarding 30-percent of contracts to Detroit businesses by nearly double. One of the most exciting and innovative features of the new Little Caesars Arena has been constructing the gondola seating —a massive, suspended steel frame that hangs from the arena’s roof—giving fans a chance to be on top of the action.
