Superhero weekend television event: Marvel’s ‘Avengers Assemble’ for four-part ‘Civil War’

Last May, we saw the Avengers go from an united team to being divided into Team Iron Man and Team Cap on the live-action big screen with “Captain America: Civil War”.

Now, the “Civil War” will end season three of Marvel’s “Avengers: Ultron Revolution” with a four-part arc this Saturday morning starting at 11am.  This season, Marvel’s “Avengers Assemble” followed Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk, and Falcon and their battle to save the world from the evil designs of the malevolent android Ultron.  Not only that, the Avengers found a friend in need through Vision, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and the Thunderbolts (formerly the Masters of Evil) against Baron Zemo and Kang the Conqueror.

However, “Civil War” will soon find the Avengers going up against one another when the U.S. government enforces the Registration Act, a law in which Inhumans must reveal their powers to the world.  But when the Avengers decides to disassemble over this, the government assembles the Mighty Avengers.  But when Inhumans are being mind-controlled to hurt civilians, the Avengers set out to free their minds: leading to a climactic revolution of their own, where all Avengers must unite and assemble into ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ in preventing the revolution of Ultron.

If you miss it the first time and/or want to see it again, then you can watch it with a repeat airing Saturday night at 8:30pm, followed by another repeat airing Sunday morning at 8am on Disney XD.
