WATCH: Jeannie Mai from “The Real” at 2017 Go Red for Women Detroit

AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from The Somerset Collection in Troy, Mich. for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women luncheon. In this video, watch for the keynote speech by Jeannie Mai, television correspondent and co-host of “The Real.”  She supports the campaign because it helps women of all nationalities take charge of their health. In addition to the expo and silent auction, attendees heard an inspiring message from the noted celebrity. Mai talked about her uncle who passed away from heart disease and some lifestyle changes that she made to lower her blood pressure.
