Marvel Monday: The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’

He’s the rebel King of the fictional Wakanda nation that made his prowling big-screen debut opposite fellow warrior and Avenger Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in last summer’s “Captain America: Civil War”.  Now, the world’s first black superhero is about to be the first black superhero headlining his own movie in the cinematic world of Marvel since Wesley Snipes’ Blade two decades ago.

Enter the jungle of Marvel’s “Black Panther” with this teaser trailer of Chadwick Boseman, who let vengeance for his father’s murder consumed him throughout the superhero “Civil War”, but his sense of justice brought him back in knowing that his father and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) were both victims: helping the latter found peace in the end.  After all, Wakanda is the place that has vibranium, the metal responsible for the red-white-blue shield of the living legend known as Captain America, the world’s first super-soldier who became the real red-white-blue SHIELD for liberty, freedom, and justice against HYDRA.

Now, T’Challa is not only on a quest to be “a good man with a good heart”, but also on a quest become one of the “conquerors” before his enemies one of the “conquered”.  But they will soon know that one should never hunt or conquer the Black Panther, where evil and corruption are his prey.

Co-starring Michael B. Jordan, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, and Forest Whitaker, Marvel’s “Black Panther is set for February 16, 2018.
