AmericaJR’s Jason was LIVE at the Michigan Theatre for Opening Night of the 56th annual Ann Arbor Film Festival (AAFF). The Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant-garde and experimental film festival in North America, founded by George Manupelli in 1963. In this gallery, look for photos from Day Five (Saturday, March 24) from inside the historic Michigan Theater. At 1 p.m., “The Big House” observational film made its North American premiere. eventeen University of Michigan students from the department of Screen Arts and Cultures collaborated to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Michigan Stadium over the course of several home football games. It was set during the landscape of the 2016 Presidential Election.
