AmericaJR’s Gloria and Jerome Rzucidlo were LIVE at Beacon Park in downtown Detroit. JR JR, Detroit’s own indie pop duo, is back in the city for a free concert at Beacon Park. The Downtown Detroit Partnership, which operates programming for the public space, tapped the group to launch its summer concert series Saturday, June 16. Members Joshua Epstein and Daniel Zott said they are both excited and nervous—the concert will be their first performance in Detroit since May 2017. Detroit’s own Inohs Sivad and her fellow Is Revolution band members, along with psychedelic pop band, Wild Belle, will open the JR JR show at 6:30 p.m.
