AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo recently went for a road trip along historic Route 66 in Arizona. In this gallery, you’ll see photos from Ash Fork, Arizona. The internationally renowned U.S. Route 66 also runs directly through the town. The surrounding geographical area and settlements served as inspiration for the 2006 Pixar film Cars. In this gallery, you’ll see sights such as The Copper State Motel, The Hi-Line Motel, Zettler’s Route 66 Store and DeSoto’s Salon, a former Texaco gas station.

Visit Ash Fork, AZ by taking exits 144 or 146 on Interstate 40. It is about 2 hours and 25 minutes northwest of Phoenix and 3 hours southeast of Las Vegas.
