GALLERY: Detroit’s Official Christmas Tree arrives at Campus Martius Park

AmericaJR’s Gloria Rzucidlo was LIVE at Campus Martius Park in Downtown Detroit. Last Wednesday, crews installed the 55-foot-tall Michigan-grown Norway Spruce Christmas tree that sits in the middle of the park. The tree was grown at Dutchman Tree Farms in Manton, Mich. This year, the tree-lighting ceremony will be televised on WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20. Campus Martius outdoor ice skating rink will make its season debut Nov. 13. It will be open to the public daily, including holidays, through March 7.
