AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo was LIVE at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 2022 Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Cup Series race. Country music group Midland performed a pre-race concert for race fans on the frontstretch. Through Big Machine Records, the band has released two EPs, their self-titled EP and The Last Resort. They have released two studio albums, On the Rocks and Let It Roll, which have accounted for five charted singles on the Billboard country chart: “Drinkin’ Problem”, “Make a Little”, “Burn Out”, “Mr. Lonely”, and “Cheatin’ Songs”. Midland’s musical styles are defined by neotraditional country, Texas country and country rock influences. It took place just one day before the 2022 Academy of Country Music Awards were to be held at Allegiant Stadium also in Las Vegas.
