
AmericaJR’s Jason Rzucidlo reports from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 race. Joey Logano captured the checkered flag on Sunday, Oct. 16. On lap 265, Logano passed Ross Chasten and never looked back. The last three laps were a battle between Chevrolet and Ford. Las Vegas native Kyle Busch finished third. There were eight caution flags for a total of 42 laps. Bubba Wallace got into a physical altercation with Kyle Larson after both cars hit each other on lap 96. Wallace won the first stage while Ryan Blaney won the second stage. There were 18 lead changes in total.
