AmericaJR’s Gloria and Jerome Rzucidlo recently went on a tour of the newly-renovated Michigan Central in Detroit’s Corktown district. Following an extensive six-year renovation by Ford Motor Company, Michigan Central Station has opened its doors beginning with a first look at the interior restoration of its historic ground floor. The Station officially welcomes the community back to share in its historic reopening during Michigan Central OPEN from June 6-16. From June 21 to August 31, the first floor will be open for Summer at the Station, allowing visitors to take self-guided tours from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, with food and beverages also available to enjoy outside of The Station. Note that tickets are not needed for the Summer at the Station experience. Expanded hours will be announced for fall, when the first phase of commercial activations opens to the public.

Michigan Central is located at: 2001 15th Street, Detroit, MI. For more info including tours, go to: https://michigancentral.com.
