Her talk was titled "When Traditional Companies Meet the Realities
of the Digital Era." Robinson said 28 percent of the New York
Times' profits comes from charging for content on its websites.
She said that while the newspaper has made job reductions, it has
kept its overseas reporters for foreign affairs coverage.
