AmericaJR.com's Garrett Godwin reports from the Grand Garden across the street from the MGM Grand Detroit Casino. The 1st Annual Ice Sculpture Competition took place on Friday, Feb. 11. Culinary students from Henry Ford Community College, Oakland Community College and Macomb Community College participated in the event. Each had two blocks of ice and a three-hour window to complete their sculptures. Find out who won first place by watching this great video. Watch for remarks from Dee Dee McKinney Odom, the director of community affairs for MGM Grand Detroit Casino.
