Metro Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest "Elite Winners" Announced

101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

DEARBORN, Mich. -- It takes exceptional dedication and commitment to one's employees to be named an Elite Winner in Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For annual awards competition. And only the top 10 companies among the 101 winners are named Elite winners. Those winners were announced today by the Michigan Business & Professional Association (MBPA) at the awards luncheon honoring all of the Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work for.

The 10 categories in the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For are: Communication, Community Initiatives, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity and Multiculturalism, Employee Education and Development, Employee Engagement and Commitment, Recognition and Retention, Recruitment and Selection, Work-Life Balance and the "Best of the Best" Award.

Every year hundreds of companies pursue a 101 Best and Brightest designation in recognition of their outstanding employee initiatives. The most prestigious award, "Best of the Best," was presented to Quicken Loans/Rock Financial, Inc. of Livonia, which demonstrated excellence in all categories. Todd Lunsford, Vice President of Human Resources and Recruiting in Livonia accepted the award.

These metro Detroit companies represent exceptional innovation and progressive human resources. The Elite winners are selected based on their overall high scores and are then named an Elite winner in their respective category. (See list of Elite winners following.)
